I know that recycling is an important thing to do for our environment. It’s also something that I want to teach my son to do. My problem is that my kitchen is really tiny, so I don’t have room for those big side-by-side recycling bins, and if I use a paper bag, it usually gets leftover goo from the cans at the bottom and the bottom falls through. I’ve been searching for a good solution, but I haven’t found many great recycling bin options on the market.
Rubbermaid recycler review
Rubbermaid sent me their new 2-in-1 Recycler. It does exactly what I need it to do, and it’s compact design doesn’t take up too much room in my kitchen! It’s about the size of a standard kitchen garbage bin, but it’s got two separate bins so you can sort your recyclables. The bottom bin tilts out and holds a standard 8-gallon trash bag and even features Rubbermaid’s LinerLock bag management so the bag doesn’t fall inside of the bin and instead stays in place. Both top and bottom bin have handles for easy carrying to your curbside recycling bins, and the product itself is made of recycled material and is recyclable. The Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler has changed my views on recycling. It’s no longer something that’s a huge pain to do. Rubbermaid has learned how to make it easy and clean on top of it!
If you have other recycling needs that aren’t quite met with the 2-in-1 Recycler, Rubbermaid has other new and innovative recycling options that might be right for you. Their new line of recycling products can be purchased online at Rubbermaid.com or in store at Mejier for $39.99. Visit their Adventures in Organization Blog and Facebook page to find out more info!
