starbucks ice creamIf I was stranded on a desert island, you could leave me there with Starbucks and ice cream; and I would be a happy girl. Now that you can get the two products in one, it is complete bliss. As a mom, coffee is a staple in this household; so I was thrilled to try Starbucks Espresso Shooters. Turns out it is the best of both worlds. The Espresso Shooters give quite a yummy jump start to the morning chasing kids around the house.

4 servings — Prep Time: 5 minutes

  • 1 cup Starbucks VIA®, prepared according to package directions
  • 4 Tbsp. Starbucks® Coffee Ice Cream
Pour chilled Starbucks VIA® into 4 chilled shot glasses. Sweeten to taste. Top with Starbucks® Coffee Ice Cream. Garnish, if desired, with cinnamon and serve with cut straws.
At nighttime, however, there is nothing better than the good ol’ comfort of settling down with a bowl of ice cream, snuggled with your hubby and kids to watch a movie. Starbucks has non-coffee flavors for the kids like Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, Signature Hot Chocolate, and Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino which is my oldest’s favorite. My go-to drink when I have a Frappuccino is Java Chip, so of course, that was my flavor of choice. Tastes even better than the drink. You can find Starbucks ice cream at your local grocery store. I love that it comes in (well in my house) personalized pints so each member of our family can pick their own flavor with no sharing!  You can find Starbucks on Twitter and Facebook.
