OK, I am about to get real in this review and am going to talk about a taboo subject; incontinence. It seems to be one of those subjects that people are dealing with that no one wants to talk about. Well, I am here to get it out in the open, so here is my story! My first child was delivered by a C-section and my 2nd child was born 11 years later and was delivered VBAC. After she was born, I saw a difference in my bladder function. If I coughed or sneezed really hard, I could pee a little, but it did not happen too often. When I delivered my last baby, Henry, that was a crazy experience that makes for a great story! My water broke at 6:30 am and I delivered Henry at 9:30 am with no medication whatsoever. Oh, I should probably add that he weighed 9 lbs. 15.5 ounces!!! To say I have had inconvenience issues ever since would be a huge understatement! I swear I can just think about peeing my pants and it happens! A normal cough or sneeze will send me to the bathroom to change out a panty liner, of which I carry a few in my purse at all times. There had to be a better solution and that came int he form of the incontinence pants for women from Wearever.
Stylish Incontinence Pants For Women
I think the biggest stigma for me when it came to my incontinence was how embarrassing it was. No one knew about it unless I told them, as long as I had a liner on anyway. I never had a loss of control that I full on wet my pants or anything but I was afraid it could happen at any time. I think I felt a bit of my femininity slip away, especially when I was wearing my granny panties and my panty liners. Sexy, huh? My husband would never have said anything to the contrary, but I felt completely un-sexy, to say the least. When I saw the pretty and stylish incontinence pants for women from Wearever, I felt a glimmer of hope.
I chose the Lovely Lace Trim Incontinence Panties and the Wearever Seamless Shaper. I decided if I could kill two birds with one stone and hide a bit of my tummy and have incontinence protection, that was a bonus! The pants from Wearever are extremely well made, feel amazing and are so soft and comfortable. They look like traditional women’s panties and I feel feminine and am not embarrassed for my husband to see me in them. I was on a business trip recently and I felt 100% comfortable attending all the events without worrying that I would have any leakage. You can also find Buster Brown socks, a well-known comfort sock line, mattress pads, diabetic socks, bedding and incontinence pants for men and women. The Lovely Lace Trim Incontinence Panties can be purchased on the Wearever website for $15.99 and the Wearever Seamless Shaper can be purchased for $26.99.
