Summer Beach Wedding Decorations
I discovered Love the Unique while searching for summer beach wedding decorations for my friend Niki’s wedding.  Niki and Joel currently live in Columbus, Ohio but frequently visit Southwest Florida for the warmth and sunshine!  Because of their love for the beach, they decided to have a destination beach wedding this summer.  They are carrying their beach theme through the whole wedding with sand, shells and lots of bright colors.  They plan to walk down the aisle without shoes and wanted to have a fun way to encourage their guests to ditch the shoes as well!
Shoes Optional Wedding Signs
I have seen many people use shoes optional wedding signs at their ceremonies but none as unique and original as the sign I received from Love the Unique.  The wedding sign is made with old weathered barn boards and comes with quite a history! The wood used to make this sign came from a barn built back in the Civil War.  Mary Smith, the crafter of these amazing signs, even found a square spike in the wood dating back over a century.  If this wood could talk, I could not imagine all the stories it could tell!  The two signs and stake arrived in perfect condition.  The signs are approximately 24 inch long and 5 1/2 inches tall.  The wood is white washed and is absolutely beautiful!  They look like pieces of driftwood and will be perfect at Niki and Joel’s beach wedding!  One of the signs says ‘Joel and Niki’ and the second sign says ‘Shoes Optional’.  They plan on having the sign at the entrance to the ceremony so that their guests can leave their shoes aside for the beach wedding.  The letters are painted onto the wood with outdoor paint so they stay looking perfect even if there is a chance of rain.  The stake is approximately 50 inches so we can chose the height that we want to sign.  Both of the signs attached easily to the stake and was ready in minutes!  This will be such a beautiful addition to their beachfront ceremony and something they will always treasure as a souvenir as their wedding day!  The Wooden Wedding Sign retails for $50.00.
