At Miracle-Gro®, we believe that there’s a lot to learn from even the smallest plants. So we started The Gro-ables® Project: a movement to share the joy of growing herbs and veggies while giving kids truly hands-on learning experiences. Join us by planting your own Gro-ables, taking part in the activities below and sharing your story!
I have covered gardening with kids in several of my blog posts while partnered with Miracle Gro. Gardening has always been a stress-relieving past-time of mine, and I am pleased these experiences have sparked a life-long interest in my kids.
Miracle-Gro has always manufactured products simple enough for my kids to use virtually on their own while at the same time able to hold my interest. Gardening is the perfect bonding project for all ages. Since summer is right around the corner, we are planning our summer growing projects.
The Gro-ables Project is fun and easy to use. You just peel the label, water, and wait for the particular fruit, herb, or vegetable to grow from the seed pod. We just planted the seed pods in containers and in a few short days we had sprouts and now we have the beginnings of a zucchini plant!
I love that each Gro-able is guaranteed to grow!
Each Gro-ables kit comes with 30 guaranteed-to-grow Gro-able pods a single variety of 4-6 types. What a fun activity for the kids to do as school closes. It is a great way to get the kids outdoors in the sunshine to enjoy the perfect weather.
