Eating healthy is important to my husband and I and we are always looking for new lower carb, high protein snacks. I especially love a protein bar as a snack on the way home from the gym. The protein bars that I have tried in the past are usually pretty unappetizing and are not worth the fat or calories!
Supreme Protein sent me a few boxes of their product for me to review. (These products were sent to me at my request). The flavors I tried were the Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist, Caramel Nut Chocolate and the Peanut Butter and Jelly. I was skeptical when I read that they claim to taste like candy bars. I have eaten quite a few candy bars in my day and know how gooey, chocolately and delicious they can be. Well I was pleasantly surprised to try the Supreme Protein bars. The Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist were hands down my favorite, while my husband preferred the Caramel Nut Chocolate. The bars had a smooth but chewy consistency and tasted almost like eating pure caramel!! What a treat, especially knowing that you are putting high-quality proteins and essential vitamins and minerals into your body! The calorie/fat content is very reasonable at around 200-210 calories and 8-9g fat. There are 15g of protein in every bar – that’s 30% of your daily value, in one delicious bar!
Supreme Protein offers a variety of products including protein bars and powder. The protein bars come with either 15g or 30g of protein and a variety of flavors, including Caramel Nut Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist, Rockie Road Brownie, Cookies and Crème and Peanut Butter Crunch. The Supreme Protein powder comes in Classic Vanilla Ice Cream. You can purchase Supreme Protein products at local retailers such as GNC, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and 7-Eleven or online at ProSource.net. The protein bars can be purchased online for $1.75 and are also available in boxes of nine starting at $11.95!
