There may be 4 real seasons, but in my house, there are only two. Football season and NOT football season. I grew up in a family that revolved around sports, especially football. I am so lucky to have found a husband who appreciates football just as much as I do. I grew up a New York Giants fan, and Chris grew up a University of Alabama fan. Since we live in Southwest Florida, it was only natural for us to pick a team that we could root for together. That team just happens to be the Miami Dolphins. Before Aidan was born, Chris and I went to games frequently, arriving a few hours early to tailgate with hot dogs, hamburgers and all of the fun tailgating games that go along with the experience.
Driving the 2 hours down to Miami isn’t as easy as it used to be, especially since I am about ready to pop another baby out! Instead, Chris and I have resorted to creatively tailgating at home. We have found that tailgating at home allows us to save a ton of money, while also having freedom to make the foods that we want to eat during the big game in the comfort of our own home. We are able to bring all of the elements of tailgating right to our own living room, including using SOLO cups and plates to serve our favorite tailgating appetizer, White Queso Dip!
Not every cup is a SOLO cup. Only SOLO cups are squared! We love using SOLO products because of how sturdy they are, plus, they are more than just cups! SOLO offers paper products, heavy duty plates and cups and premium strength products. Using SOLO squared plates allows us the freedom from dirty dishes piling up in the sink, plus they hold just as much as our glass plates! Chris typically does not like using plastic plates, but these plates are different! We were able to serve everything to our tailgating guests, from lasagna to chips and White Queso Dip! Make sure to check out SOLO’s Pinterest page to get more ideas on Tailgating with SOLO®.
