The Most Popular Footwear Trends For Fall
I am always son the lookout for footwear that is stylish. I love shoes, boots, sandals and just about any other type of footwear imaginable. I am partial to sandals and boots but am happy with just about anything. Back in the early 90’s I would not be caught in public unless I was wearing my Doc Martens. I love a shoe that is made to wear instead of to look at. I have seen some shoes that we really cute, but they either weren’t made very well or they could only be worn on certain occasions. I need a shoe that will go with just about anything I have in my closet. Here are some of The Most Popular Footwear Trends For Fall:
- Velvet smoking slippers are really hot this year. I reviewed a pair in the spring and they are so unique you know you won’t see all the moms at the PTA wearing them
- Chunky ankle boots are hot, especially if they have a vintage look, especially leather. There are a lot of cute styles of this boot out there, many of which can be found for less than $100.
- Oxford shoes were in style a few years ago and they are making a comeback this year with a neon sole, which is a great look. You will also see saddle shoes are making a comeback themselves.
- Boots, boots and more boots. No matter the style, boots are very in this year. As it is a broad sampling of which boots are more hot than others, as long as you are wearing them, you have a pretty good chance to be in style.
Boots For Moms And Kids
I have been scouring the internet for a solid footwear company that has cute boots for moms and kids. I was in the market for either rain boots or Ugg styled boots for the kids as well as myself. I was lucky enough to be asked to review shoes from Nomad Footwear. This uber popular footwear company was started in 1997 by a pair of shoe salesmen who knew they wanted to develop a line of footwear that could be work by fashion trendsetters that could stand their ground on their own. I corresponded with Sarah and she helped me with my choices and I must say, I got some really cute boots. I received The Puddles in black with fuchsia hearts ($15.00), The Puddles in navy with umbrellas ($15.00), the Alaska in black ($15.00) as well as in tan ($15.00). I was so impressed with the quality of these boots. The rain boots are a nice thick rubber, unlike the boots you find at the discount stores. The Alaska boot is soft and the faux fur accent on the boot really makes a fashionable statement. Caitlin could not wait to wear her boots and she had plenty of chances as it rained for almost a week here.
