The love of a good dog

“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.  For me they are the role model for being alive.”

Nothing Beats The Unconditional Love Of A Dog

Human love is great, but nothing beats the unconditional love of a dog. No matter what the situation may be, my dog Fenway is there with his tongue waiting to shower me with kisses. He is the energizer bunny of loving licks and everything in between, but running is one of his favorite pastimes. My favorite moments of him is playing with my son Jakobi in the backyard. They are usually always running their own mini race track to see who will come in first. It is similar to a tortoise and hare story. I am always wearing a smile on my face when I see my boys playing their little race game. Fenway is a great racer and hard to beat, but he is also a great snuggle buddy.

A little over a year ago, My son was extremely sick for a few months. We had many ENT appointments , surgeries, and medications over that time. The only thing that made Jakobi feel better was knowing Fenway would never leave his side. Dogs have great senses and he knew exactly when my son was feeling yucky. Nothing beats the unconditional love of a dog, which makes them perfect for therapy and helping others.

Like I have mentioned before, dogs have great senses allowing them to know when you are feeling under the weather, you are having a bad day, and even when you are filled with joy. This makes them perfect to help those in need. They are able to comfort someone without direction. Fenway is a very energetic dog and loves meeting new friends. Once he gets the first greeting he settles down and calls your lap his new favorite home. This is a great quality to have in a therapy dog because you know they will stay in your with you and give you puppy kisses as long as you will let them. Even though I have never encountered the blessing of a therapy dog I believe that all dogs have  the potential to become one. Whether it is a  dog in a forever home or a trained therapy dog, they are all exceptionally great friends and will be there with you through thick and thin. How does your dog treat you? Can you feel his love?

Cesar created the Share a Story and Share the Love initiative to help support and spotlight therapy dog organizations, to ensure people in need continue to receive the powerful benefits of a dog’s unconditional love like my family does. The Share a Story and Share the Love campaign encourages dog lovers to share the heartwarming stories of therapy dogs through their social media communities such as Facebook and Twitter. In return, Cesar will share the love with three therapy dog organizations through donations that help continue the services they provide to people in need.

I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cesar and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

  1. How cute, I am more of a cat person myself, but have not had a pet in over 6 years. Your post is very touching and got me thinking seriously about getting a pet again : )
