When I got my new phone, I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. I was playing with all of the bells and whistles on that thing for almost a week! I am a big tech nerd and love to get new gadgets and figure them out and use them. Because I take a lot of pictures on my phone, I have it out almost constantly. I am a naturally clumsy person and I try to protect the things I can from being destroyed when I drop them. Notice I said “when” and not “if” I drop them because it is inevitable that it will fall to the floor at some point! Just because I need to protect my phone does not mean I should give up style for function. with the beautifully handcrafted phone cases from Carved, I get just that.
Beautifully Handcrafted Phone Cases
All of the beautifully hand crafted phone cases from Carved begins with a long and slow hand selection of wood. They make sure each they choose has a deep and natural grain running through it. By using a distinct laser-engraving technique, they can turn any photograph or logo that you have into an iPhone or iPad case or skin. They do everything, including their precise engraving, in Elkhart, Indiana and before sending out a product, they take extra safeguards to make sure each item lives up to their strict standards. Each item you receive has the look and feel of the rich and gorgeous wood used by the staff at Carved.
I was sent the Chevron pattern with the black case for Caitlin’s iPhone 4. I love how beautifully the lines of the pattern match up perfectly. The look and feel of the wood is absolutely incredible and it really makes for a striking case. By using the pale color of the wood, the case can match just about anything you are wearing so it doubles as a fashion forward wardrobe accessory as well. In honor of my sweet Henry’s autism, I chose the puzzle pattern for my Samsung Galaxy 3. Although you can chose the placement of each puzzle piece on the case, I preferred to let the magicians do their thing and make the case as they liked. I cannot stop staring at the gorgeous mix of the dark and light colors and the deep rich tones of the wood. It is hard to believe that each one of these pieces is made individually and then fitted by hand. Just breathtaking. Oh, and trust me, I have dropped my phone on many occasion since getting the case and it is completely protected while looking awesome! You can purchase the Chevron case for $29 and the puzzle case for $34 from the Carved website. You can also purchase cases and covers for your iPad mini, iPhone 5 and 5C and Galaxy 4. Be sure to show the folks at Carved some love by following them on Twitter and liking them on Facebook.
