When I watched the trailer for “Bad Moms”, I immediately shared it with my greatest Mom friends in the entire world. I posted it on my Facebook wall seeing some of my Mom friends had already created an Event, “Bad Moms Movie Outing,” for premier night. It became the thing we talked about in the Music Together lobby in between classes. As more teasers and clues about the film poured through our social media discussions, we shared even more in the excitement. I attended the screening and press junket in Los Angeles, experiencing, first hand, what I knew this movie was going to deliver….. MOMS UNITED!!
The screening was hosted by STX Entertainment at the IHeart Theater in Burbank and they treated us to a journey of cocktails, popcorn and comradery. The cast came out, shared some laughs and then surprised us with a concert by “Flo Rida”.

FloRida_Instagram_Happiness-jpAfter the concert, (and “cocktail break”) we watched a full screening of the Bad Moms movie, which was everything I had hoped for. It was full of laughs, jaw gaping silliness, “rootin for the underdog” moments, and an overwhelming feeling of “Yeah! These guys get it!!”. Being a MOM is tough stuff! #BADMOMS Bad Moms is like a Mimosa; sweet, bubbly and you just want more.

The next day we were shuttled over to the beautiful SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills for the Press Event/Junket. STX pulled out all the pampering any Momma would appreciate, with an amazing spread, endless Mimosas, Mini massages by #ZEEL and creative photo booth experiences for us to become immersed into the branding and marketing.

BadMoms-JP-MakobiScribeThe actual press event was unique and different than any I had ever experienced. We were set up outside, with perfect weather (74 degrees, sunshine, no humidity I could feel) pretty tables, shady umbrellas, pastries and 3 separate group interviews with the cast and writers. Kathryn Hahn even said it felt more like a baby or wedding shower than a press junket. Definitely NOT AWFUL. BADMOMS INTERVIEWS
