Michelle and Stephanie, who met at a playgroup in 2000, have a pretty green thing going!

Treat Yourself With A New Bag And Go Green With Style

They fell in love with candy wrapper bags in Mexico, and the started looking for bags made from recycled materials like juice pouches, seat belts, and used tires. Their-store is one of the most popular on the Internet and with good reason! They offer a huge variety of finely made eco friendly bags at an affordable price!

I received the very stylish and versatile Haiku City Satchel, which sells for $78 and comes in Stone Green or Black. This bag is perfect for a busy woman on the go like me, especially if you have kids! There is plenty of room for your stuff as well as the kids, so there is no need to carry a bag for everyone. There are 2 large pockets on the front, one purse size zipper pocket on the back, and 2 pockets on the inside. It has a 51″ adjustable shoulder strap so you can go from using it as a shoulder bag or a cross body bag. With it’s signature bright floral pattern found in the Haiku bags, it is easy to see anything that has fallen to the bottom. No seriously! Look at everything I could fit in that purse! (Do not judge me by the contents!)

  1. I am truly a lover of bags! It is too hard for me to decide because I would put any of these bags to good use.

  2. I love the Maggie Bag Everything Bag. But I also really like the Fair Trade Fashion bag. Hard to choose just one favorite! I love that these bags provide a ‘green’ alternative to typical bags. Thanks for the review and for introducing me to a great site.

  3. I love the fact that these bags are made from stuff like netting, seatbelts, etc….what a fun way to repurpose stuff. I really really like the Maggie bags, I’ve been wanting one for a long time so would use it towards purchasing a Maggie bag if I win. I also really like Smateria Feed Messenger Bag. Can’t believe how pretty these bags are made from such boring materials like seat belts and netting, etc,… Thanks for the chance to win one of these awesome bags!

  7. I think I like the Haiku Hobo a lot. Big enough, and it zips shut. THAT is of the utmost importance! no zip shut, you WILL lose everthing one day! I like the flowery sort of pattern one.

  8. I love the Smateria Scratch Handbag. But all the bags are cute, practical and overall just awesome. I love finding out about new products.

  9. I like the Smateria Tag Shoulder tote in Teal. This looks like a great all purpose bag that I can use year round.
