My oldest used to come home from school ravenous. He would plow through the kitchen looking for anything quick and easy to eat. Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches would have been perfect. I am glad they are available for my two youngest to snack on. I love the size of the sandwiches because they fit perfectly in their little hands without much mess. What is cuter than a bunch of kids running up and down a soccer field pretending that they are actually playing a sporting event with a ball than a sandwich shaped like a bird. My kids love it when I create an event out of their meals, and I am sure their team of friends would too! Imagine a bunch of screaming kids who just won (or didn’t; at the young age it never matters) and are over the moon with their stellar performance. They all gather at the team mom’s house who is just as awesome as they are and get to FEAST on Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches made like their team mascot a bird!
You can see my whole journey from start to finish in my Google plus album which is a pretty neat tool! Check it out! The boys and I had a lot of fun browsing through Walmart and picking out all of our ingredients for the Bird-wich project. They always like going with me to help pick out ingredients for the sandwiches they get to help make. It is a fun time to be a kid.
You can make these awesome bird-wiches too!!

- Two slices of round cheese
- Baby arugula
- 1 black olive
- 2 peas
- Cut the feet in a triangle shape and cut the toes out.
- Place between the two slices of bread.
- Add the arugula lettuce around the sides to look like wings and place the bun back on the top.
