It’s spring again and my weekends are filled with grassy fields and cleats. I have to bring easy snacks for kids to eat between games or in the truck, so I’m going through the pantry trying to decide what to bring. Packing that food is a key part of the day. I’ve got to get it right, and quick, or we’ll be late and the kids will be hungry. With this many kids on the go, you can understand why it is so key! Mom’s can be super passionate about their lunch making…

I’ve tried a lot of different tactics when planning what to get quasi picky eaters to eat. I’ve actually even asked them what they want, but then I end up with eight different things and most goes to waste. I’ve got to outsmart them and find something they both like and that’s easier on me. Mott’s® Snack & Go applesauce pouches are a quick and easy solution for me. They have everything that makes a snack a good snack for kids. So….
What Makes GOOD Easy Snacks For Kids?
- Fuel That Refuels Them: It’s very important to me that my boys are always eating healthy. I know what happens when they get too much sugar, and this keeps them going without crashing later. After Mott’s® Snack & Go Natural applesauce pouches, they stay even-keeled until the exhaustion kicks in on the ride home. It’s the same applesauce I had when I was a kid, so I feel right giving it to them.
- Something They Like: My boys are notoriously picky eaters, and half the time they can’t agree on anything. I wonder if they want different things to eat just to make me work twice as hard. Mott’s® Snack & Go applesauce pouches are a welcome exception. They both are convinced the applesauce is a treat, and love each of the three flavors: Mott’s® Snack & Go Strawberry applesauce pouches, Mott’s® Snack & Go Natural applesauce pouches, and Mott’s® Snack & Go Original applesauce pouches. Each one is an excellent source of vitamin C. They’re always going at top speed from morning until night and they need something that can keep up with them.
- Conveniently Sized: The snack packs fit easily into an insulated pouch, meaning I don’t lug around a big cooler anymore. My first couple games it looked like I was packing for a vacation. It is also nice to have a grab and go container that’s easy for them to handle and it’s harder to spill. Anything that helps more lunch end up in their mouths and less in between the seats of the truck is fine by me. It’s the same healthy snack I would feed them if we were seated around the dining room table, just ready for life on the go.
