Thank you to Wikets for introducing me to this iPhone/iPad app. You can download Wikets from the App Store here. The app will launch on the evening of November 7. My readers when they download this app can get an extra bonus 200 points when you use the promo code: makobiscribe. You also get 200 points just for signing up. Double points starts at 500 points in one month.
You can earn all kinds of rewards with points, and they made it really easy. Here’s an example of what you can earn with points: 2500 points = $25 Amazon Gift Card.
After you have installed the app, you should get started recommending products and places. The more you add the more you will earn. You can also get points by adding to your wishlist and re-recing. In the two pictures above, you can see screen shots of what the app looks like. It has the ability to make the screen the size of your iPhone or your iPad. I am showing you the pictures on my iPad2. The picture on the left is all the notifications of the new people following me. Sweeptight is my blogging friend, and I was able to locate her through Facebook. You can also find friends through Twitter.
The picture on the right is showing my feed. At the very top it shows that I am earning double points for 18 more days. then it shows the restaurants that I recommend in Deland. It found that I was in Deland by me allowing access to my location. This feature makes it easier to find places to recommend based on your home town or where you are visiting. Every time you recommend a place or a book or other product, you earn points. Then you can have conversations with your friends and re-recommend their likes. You can also post to Facebook and Twitter is coming. So, download the app, use makobiscribe for double points and 200 bonus points, and start recommending!
