My daughters love stickers!! Not a day goes by that I don’t peel stickers off their clothes. And to be honest, I like stickers too. They are the perfect touch to the back of envelopes and packages. I also think they are pretty fun and cute to give my children as rewards for good behavior. I was excited when I was asked to review Xtron 1.5” create-a-sticker maker.
The Xyron 1.5” create-a-sticker maker is a small machine shaped like a ribbon tie. The Xyron, The Xyron Charity Ribbon Sticker Maker, I received was pink in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Xyron machines are available in other colors as well but with the The Xyron Charity Ribbon Sticker Maker $.50 is given to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The Xyron creates stickers instantly. You add whatever small paper or fabric item you wish to by inserting it into the machine. You then pull the strip of sticker paper and tear. Rub the item, peel back the paper and “wala”, you have a sticker. This is simple and fun. The first item I wanted to try was ribbon. I thought it would like cute “stickered” around a package. I was right, it created a really neat look plus it secured the ribbon unlike if I had just tied the ribbon. My daughters of course had to get in on this fun. I have small cut out letters that my 3 year old daughter uses to practice making words. We decided it would be fun to make the cut out letters into stickers. Once the stickers were made, she had fun making words by sticking them onto a colorful piece of paper.
To purchase your own Xyron 1.5″ sticker maker and refills, they are availabe at amazon.com, Michaels, JoAnns Craft and Fabric as well as some independent retail stores. The Xyron is sold for $10.99. Refills can be purchased for $4.99.
