I am usually a very organized person, to the point that my family makes fun of me for it. My mom would tell me if she ever needed anything to organize her house, she would just pilfer from my stash! The funny thing about my organization is that for the most part, it has been concentrated everywhere but my office! I have labels, bins, trays, folders and a myriad of other organizational tools in the kid’s rooms, the kitchen, bathroom and living room. The one place I do not have anything in place, is my poor home office, which is a mess! I decided if I was going to get any work done in the office, I needed to officially make it functional. So, my first order of business was to get my home office decor decided on because my office is in the open, so I wanted it to blend in with the other rooms it faces.
Add Some Style To Your Home Office Decor
Most of the colors in my home are earthy neutral tones, so finding accessories that blend in are easy to find. I had most of my desk cleaned up but I wanted something that would help me keep my notes organized. I decided on a cork or magnetic board because they are so cute as well as functional. I was sent an awesome magnetic board from Nina Ames, a bright young artist. Nina, who has a B.A. in Business and a Minor in Art, found it impossible to fins a job in her chosen degree. To find something to do with her time that would showcase her artistic talent and flare, she decided to open her own Etsy shop.
Nina began making her unique and beautiful magnetic boards, first for herself, and then for her sister. From there, Nina knew she could share her art with the rest of the world. I was sent the Palmetto fabric in bright green and white with the matching white frame and 4 magnets. The board is 12 x 18, which is a generous and workable size. I was able to put up the notes I needed for the upcoming days and have a pretty background to add some style and flair. If you are looking to add some style to your home office decor, order one of Nina’s gorgeous magnetic board and a set of matching magnets. My board sells for $46.00 in Nina’s Etsy shop, which is where you can convo Nina to talk with her about her making the perfect magnetic for your needs.
