MOD-LogoAugust is a great time for movie watching at home! Curl up on the couch, snuggle with your love and let the screen magic begin all from the comfort of your own home! We chose to watch Big Wedding on On Demand. This is a story that starts out simple enough. A wedding is approaching and the families get together to celebrate. Of course something crazy has to happen or the flick would not be interesting!

Due to a crazy circumstance, the (long since divorced) adoptive parents of the groom are forced to act as though they are still married much to the amusement of their children…and the audience! Our neighbors popped over and we had a good laugh. It is always fun watching a great comedy in the company of your friends. On Demand sent me a summer survival kit to share with my friends.

  1. “The Big Wedding” looks like it will be a laugh a minute movie, and I could really use a good laugh.

  2. I’d like to see Star Trek into Darkness. (Hard to believe the ORIGINAL Star Trek debuted in September 1966 – and still going strong. Live long and prosper!)

  3. I don’t really want to watch any of the summer movies. I’m looking most forward to Catching Fire in the fall/winter

  4. Movies on Demand “is not currently available in your area.” hope it will be soon….
i’m looking forward to seeing Oblivion.

  5. Can’t wait to watch World War Z I heard that’s really good. I just watched Mud on On Demand with Matthew Mcconaughey and Reese Witherspoon. That’s a good one, and 42 really takes the cake! The whole family watched that one, and loved it. It’s very, very touching so get your Kleenex out! Even made the hubby tear up a few times.
