Creating A Restaurant Salad At Home #BYOL

Often, I have a hankering for a fresh, restaurant salad with all of the extra fixings that make going to a restaurant a special occasion. It seems like when you dine in you get quality ingredients combined in such a way to make your taste buds tingle. Since I am on a diet, my cravings for unique salads that leave your mouth watering have increased. I am so glad I found out you can buy Lean Cuisine salad additions right from Walmart. Look at the salad above! Doesn’t it look so delicious?

This Asian style chicken salad came from the frozen food aisle and only took 2 minutes and thirty seconds to make. The directions are so easy my teenage son could make it! I like to use spiach or baby greens so that was the “lettuce” that I chose. It was like a BYOL party (bring your own lettuce) – don’t you think that would be a great idea or a play date?

There are four varieties available: bistro chicken, cranberry and chicken, asian-style chicken and southwest-style chicken. No matter what your mood is, you can satisfy your hunger for $2.50 and adding your own lettuce.

Each Nestle Lean Cuisine Salad Additions, comes with a vegetable and meat steamers package, cheese and dressing. You can find my whole path to purchase in my Google Plus Album.

While I steamed the veggie and chicken and got the spinach for my salad ready, I placed the dressing in a cup of water to thaw. By the time the rest of my salad was ready, the dressing was perfect! My salad tasted great and I saved a ton of money by making my salad at home.  Want to see for yourself? Download the Coupon  to try them in your own home.

  1. I love these. We picked them up when Kroger had them on sale 6/$12. We love all the flavors. These are 1 serving but we’ve split them between 2 of us as a side dish. Not normally a Lean Cuisine person but we will be enjoying more of these.

  2. Your salad looks delicious! I am so excited to try these Lean Cuisine salads, everyone is raving about them, yum 🙂
