Dance is a great way for kids to get the wiggles out. Jumping around and being silly helps to relax the mind and can help create a bond between you and your child when you join them. In the past kids spent a lot of time outside, but with technology these days, more and more children are inside watching TV and playing video games. Exercise is important for children to keep them active and healthy. It relieves anxiety and helps keep children at an appropriate weight in this Super-sized age. Exercise also improves interpersonal relationships, improves sleep habits, and prevents disease. Dancing is a great way to exercise your body, have fun and express yourself. My kids love Curious George, and even more they love to dance. So, when I heard that PBS was having a contest combining the two, I jumped at the chance to participate. so grab your video cameras, throw on some music, and record your child’s best monkey moves.
Curious George has been a morning staple in our lives on PBS. That curious little fellow has warmed his way into our hearts, and we cannot wait to see what mischievous adventure he is going to get into next. Curious George is still celebrating the arts. He too is now dancing up a storm, and he is the host of a shake what your mama gave you dance contest just for kids! Everybody loves to dance, especially kids.
