Asian BBQ Chicken Recipe

  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 (6-ounce) chicken thighs, skinned
  • chopped green onions
  1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a container with a lid and add chicken. Seal and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours, turning occasionally.
  2. Pre- heat grill.
  3. Remove chicken from container but reserve the marinade. Place the marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Place chicken on grill and cook for 15-20 minutes or until done, basting frequently with the marinade. Garnish with green onions, and if desired, serve over rice.
