Red Velvet Donut Blondies Recipe

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • ⅔ cup softened butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking power
  • 1/ tsp. salt
  • 8 Entemann's Red Velvet donuts, cut into ½" pieces
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease an 8 x 10 baking pan
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter and heat over medium until butter is melted, the sugar melts and the mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. Stir eggs into saucepan, one at a time, add vanilla and stir. Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder and salt in a separate bowl and then add to saucepan. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and add in ¾ of the donut pieces.
  4. Pour mixture into baking pan and top with remainder of donut pieces.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until center is set and blondies are lightly golden brown.
  6. Cool for one hour before cutting into squares.
