TOAST

I have been slowly transitioning my home to a more eco friendly place to be. The kids and I have gotten to a point where recycling is something we do not even think about anymore. We just do it. Virtually all of the cleaning supplies in my house are either home made or they are made with all natural ingredients. My clothes are washed with an eco friendly washing ball and the clothes are dried with a similar product. We are pretty green in the bathroom, and I mean that in an eco friendly kind of way. One area I had not considered when it came to going green were the accessories for our mobile devices. I was recently made aware of a new type of phone cover for our smartphones: wood. Over at TOAST, they are offering a pretty cool alternative to traditional phone covers.
Eco Friendly Wooden Phone Covers

Eco Friendly Wooden Phone Covers

One of the things I dislike about a lot of phone covers are how slick they are. I know that may sound silly, but I prefer a cover that will not slip out of my hand. I am on the clumsy side and if I have a slick plastic phone case combined with my slippery fingers and you get a broken phone! With the wooden phone covers from TOAST, you get a lightweight cover for your phone that has a great grip to it as well. I was sent 2 eco friendly wooden phone covers; one for my Samsung Galaxy S 3 with the Dandelion in bamboo and the one Seahorse cover in walnut for the iPhone 4. Not only are these covers really great looking and unusual, but they are made incredibly well. The adhesive they use on these covers really works well. When you stick your wooden TOAST phone cover on your phone, it is not going to come off without a fight!

The covers from TOAST are made from a wood of exceptional quality are are designed to not only look good, but to protect your phone as well. You can find a cover for your iPhone, iPad, iPad mini, Macbook and Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4. You can customize your TOAST cover with your choice of wood (bamboo, ebony, ash and walnut). You can choose from a plain cover or from 12 innovative and trendy designs. Each design is laser cut from real wood veneers and are hand finished. Each cover is made to protect and enhance your mobile device. The covers are long lasting and will protect the back glass and camera lens on your iPhone. The wood is durable, the peel and stick cover is easy to apply and are meant to remain on your device for the long haul. You can purchase the TOAST covers from their website and they retail from $25.00-$60.00.

One USA reader will win the “Bird On A Branch” cover in Walnut for the Samsung Galaxy 4 (as shown above) ($35.00)

  2. Hi there! Quick question that’s completely off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My web site looks weird when viewing from my iphone
    4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct
this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share.

    Appreciate it!

  3. My favorite is the S4 dandelion cover. I have never seen phones cases like these and I love them. I have a dandelion tattoo on my wrist and it would be perfect.

  4. I truly love all of them, but the dandelion cover is so cute!!!! I love that they are handmade. I currently have a green glitter case for my iphone but its been dropped and all of the corners are cracked already !! 🙁

  5. Love the bamboo with the owl. I dropped my phone 3 times today and it blew apart each time. I actually have a cover, but my phone won’t fit in my pocket or my purse with the cover on, so of course it’s not on. I was a little taken aback by the ebony initially, it didn’t seem to fit with the premise of the company until I read the rest of the description. Thanks

  6. I like the Dandilion in Bamboo for an iPhone 4. These are really beautiful. Too bad there is not one for the Kindle Fire DH!?!? Thanks!!

  7. I would love to have one of the Walnut covers with the Dandelion! Of course, though, I have an HTC Evo, and I didn’t see a cover for my phone. My boyfriend, though, has an I-Phone 4S, and I’m thinking Christmas gift! He would love it!
