EcoTensil is a renewable, biodegradable, recyclable, moisture-resistant paperboard spoon. These sturdy spoons are US made and they use less materials than other disposables for a smaller carbon footprint. That is what is all about these days…a smaller carbon foot print. I think that these are great substitutions for the plastic spoon that you would pack in a lunch box. Easy to use, all you have to do is pinch the paperboard at the two dots. Yogurt, cottage cheese, pudding, tunafish…all my favorite lunchy foods can be eaten easily with an EcoTensil. I tried mine with ice cream (go figure) and it lasted all the way through the bowl and was still intact and usable. Pretty impressive in my book. I am also one of those weird people that can’t handle wooden spoons or popsicle sticks. They just give me the heebie-jeebies.
