They will need to be entertained because we know what an idle mind leads to. My kids are still in daycare, but are only there three times a week. So, half of the week, I too, am challenged with the task of entertaining little minds. At home they have their toys and crafts, but sometimes want to just veg out in front of the TV. At Netflix Families they even have curated rows you can have your child stay in to ensure they are watching the programming you want them too. For example, TV for curious kids is like the learning channel kids style.
Your kids can explore the planets, the ocean or learn how it is made among several other exciting topics for your curious kids. Warning! This will help to expand their mind, and soon they will come to you with more questions!! At least mine do…
You can stream Netflix on a variety of devices other than your television. Many families in the U.S. already have three or more Netflix-ready devices in their household. Netflix works on a wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, Smart TVs, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii. Our favorites are our smartphone, the PlayStation 3, iPads, and even projecting them on a wall when we get the family together for movie night.
We like to pop a huge bowl of popcorn and snuggle up for boys and mom date night! So the boys like to to browse through the Family Movie night section in the grocery to tell me about the movies they want to see.
Netflix is also a lifesaver when I am out running my errands. It sure is great to be able to stream their favorite shows on Netflix Families to keep them from putting groceries we do not need in the cart!

Both my kids LOVE these types of movies! They love learning about nature!
I love that Netflix has educational movies for the kids! Now just to get them to keep selecting them!
I am new to Netflix, we are really enjoying the service. It is great that companies are paying attention and setting up services separate for the kids!

Gotta love Netflix…there’s just so much available whether it’s entertainment or education!
Even as an adult I find a lot of educational content on Netflix – they have a great selection of documentaries.
Oh I can’t tell you how often we use the Neftlix Families menu! Like all the time!! I just can’t take their traditional cartoons anymore…you can only watch blues clues so many times a day without losing your marbles!! I love finding NEW shows we can watch that keeps everyone happy!
Streamed Netflix for the first time last night to watch Arrested Development and immediately saw everything for kids. We’re testing it out but we may have to start a subscription!
We love Netflix, I really don’t know what we would have done without it this summer since we’ve had so many rainy days!
We love Netflix and like you I use it on the go. It’s a perfect way to entertain the kids no matter where you are.
