I am one of those people that can have a million channels and still have trouble finding something to watch! I am a habitual flipper and I drive my husband insane trying to decide on something to watch. I think part of my problem is that a lot of what is on cable is not something I want to watch. I am not a prude by any stretch, but at the same time I have my limits. Another issue I have is that I have a somewhat eclectic taste in what I watch. I like to watch documentaries and shows that you will not see on regular television. I have always been interested in areas like the spiritual and metaphysical and you cannot find those on television. Finally there is a network that encourages the growth of your mind, body and soul. With Gaiam TV, you can find an entire line up of programming that focuses on more positive subject matter.
Family Friendly Television
I like to watch TV when I have the spare time but I hate looking for something to watch for 30 minutes. With Gaiam TV, you see what is offered in a concise format with images that I find helpful. In case you are wondering, yes, Gaiam TV is in the same family (Gaiam) that brings you quality yoga essentials, videos, clothing and homegoods. You can find programming on subjects like yoga, fitness, nutrition and inspirational films. With their transformational media, you will find shows that will expand your mind to live outside the box we tend to think within. The first thing I watched was a documentary called “Kumare” which is a fascinating story. It is about a young guy who believes people will follow anyone who is charismatic enough. He soon finds that to be true as he builds his following, makes up yoga poses and chants for meditation. What he does not count on is how deeply he begins to care for the group and struggles with if he will come clean or not.
You can find videos from people like Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra as well as audio recordings about subjects like love, gardening and living successfully. For the kids, there is a huge section that includes favorites like The Wind in the Willows and Alice in Wonderland. You can watch Gaiam TV on your computer or mobile device and the subscription for hundreds of quality programming is just $9.95. I can assure you that this price is absolutely well worth it. I love this site so much and they add new content all the time, so there is almost always something new for you to enjoy.
One USA reader will receive a 3 month membership ($29.85) and one product from Gaiam up to ($60.00)
