Why I moved into a house with the lightest of tan carpets with two kids is a mystery to me! I miss my house that had the dark brown Berber carpet that hid every stinking stain I had! I even spilled an ink cartridge in the middle of the living room and you would never have known it. But, now I have this almost cream colored carpet, and it shows even the smallest drop of Kool-Aid or speck of dirt. I knew I needed a quick and easy solution, but I did not want to do anything major. I decided that by adding a patterned area rug, I could add some pizazz to the room and cover those pesky stains. With the incredibly large selection of carpets from eCarpetGallery, I knew I could find something that would hide those carpet stains and look fantastic in my family room.

I was sent the gorgeous Ikat Tribal in the 5×5″ by 7×8″ area rug. This beautiful mix of browns, blues, and deep reds fit into my decor perfectly. The carpet is lush and thick, the stitching is nice and tight and the weaving is impeccable. I love the modern pattern of the tribal look which makes the rug really pop. The kids have already spilled a few things and all I had to do was blot it up and I was good to go. One thing I really appreciate is that unlike many other rugs I have owned, it does not slip and slide every time you walk on it. This is the first area rug I have had that I did not need to get a gripper pad to keep it in place. I absolutely love this carpet and for the incredible savings, I know this cannot be beat. The rug originally sold on eCarpetGallery for $514.07 and is selling currently for $180.00.
