Are you ready for All Hallows Eve, otherwise known as Halloween? At my house, the kids have been planning for this since around June or July. Henry and his best bud Adam always strive to dress the same or at least in the same genre every year. For Adam’s sister and Caitlin, they do not care if they look the same as long as they look cute. For Adam and Henry, I have no problems trying to find a costume I feel is appropriate for them. For the girls, since they are in their teens, I need to make sure they look cute but not too grown up. In my opinion, the best selection of costumes for the entire family would be those from Halloween Express.
Halloween Costumes For Kids
If you have younger kids at home, do you find you have more than enough choices for your kids Halloween costume? I think that age group probably has the best selection of Halloween costumes for kids. When it comes to the pre-teen to older teens, I think there is a smaller grouping to choose from. That is why I love Halloween Express because they have a ton of costumes for the baby to the older adult and everything in between. Even if you are looking at adult sizes for your teen, you still get a lot of costumes you can sift through. We were sent one costume for Caitlin and one for Henry and I felt very comfortable letting them choose their own. Henry already knew he wanted to be a Ninja, and there were a huge number of ninja costumes to look through. We finally decided on the Ninja Fighter Costume, which retails online for $29.90. I was so impressed with the price, the amount of pieces that was included with the outfit and the construction of the pieces. You get the black unitard like piece, the head piece, the chest piece and 2 arm and 2 leg covers.
The ties for the legs and arms are well made and are not going to tear when you tie them or when the kids move around. It is loose enough for henry to move in and the head piece has a big enough opening for him to see clearly through. Henry already had a TMNT sword (included in the picture but was not from Halloween Express) that he wanted to use, but there are a ton of accessories you can add to your outfit. Caitlin was sent the Avenger’s Black Widow Costume, which sells for $65.97 on the Halloween Express website. The costume is one piece but has two belts with attachments that stay secure with nicely made Velcro. The costume has enough give that Caitlin can kick or do whatever Avenger moves she wants without fear she will tear her outfit. It is lightweight, but well made, so she will not roast on our traditionally warm Halloween nights here in the south. I was very pleased with our costumes from Halloween Express and with their amazingly large inventory, you are sure to find what you are looking for at great prices.
