I have had an obsession with jewelry since I was a little girl. I remember sitting on the floor in my moms closet trying on all of her necklaces and earrings. back in the olden days, we had clip on earrings, so I could wear them at age five. Some of my favorite pieces of jewelry are those that are funky and out of the ordinary. When I was living in Atlanta, there was always a artisans market or festival going on. My oldest daughter and I would spend weekends just wandering around looking at all the incredible talent and wishing we had money to buy it all! Now that I am in Knoxvegas, we do not have quite as many places to shop, so I scour the internet looking for cool jewelry. One of those places that I found that has the exact type of jewelry I love is Classic Hardware. This company has got some of the coolest jewelry with an edge that I have ever seen and I am in love!

Karyn Cantor, the owner and designer of Classic Hardware, has created some of the most amazing jewelry I have seen. I already have my oldest and youngest daughters fighting me to steal the bracelet that Karyn sent me. The beautiful hair clips that I also received have already been to my youngest daughter’s prom! Karyn has collaborates with such contemporary artists like Caia Koopman, Hannah Aitchison, Lisa Petrucci, Camilla d’Errico, and my favorite, Bonni Reid. You can find their original artwork on jewlery with an edge, card cases, belt buckles, tee shirts and a ton of other items.

I chose the 5 Aquatic Themed Images by Bonni Reid in Victorian Oval Bracelet by Bonni Reid. Each piece of fanciful water themed art is encased in a gorgeous and delicate frame. I especially love the seahorse as we had these in our aquarium as a kid and we were fascinated with them. I love Bonni’s use of dramatic color and her images are so realistic, they seem to jumo out at you! I was also sent a pair of the pretty Rose Retrolite Bobby Pins. These add such a pretty touch to your hair and can set off any outfit. As a matter of fact, Caitlin wore them to her 8th grade prom and received several compliments on them. Apparently one of her friends tried to distract her so she could steal one!
