Keep Your Lawn Green During Summer
When it is hot outside, it is difficult to keep your lawn green during summer. I have a brown thumb, so I am not allowed to do anything that would put me anywhere near the grass, bushes or flowers. My husband is the grounds keeper in our house and that is fine with me. I love to do laundry (yes, weird, I know), so it evens out. It is really funny to see him fussing over the lawn and looking out the window to determine if he should mow for the third time that week. I find it a bit obsessive, don’t you?! It is nice to have a beautiful lawn because it is a reflection of how your home looks inside. If you have a green and neatly trimmed lawn, I think it makes people assume you have a tidy house as well.
Water Your Lawn Properly
With the hot summer sun beating down on our lawns, if you want to keep them green you need to water your lawn properly. We have neglected our lawn lately because the hose had a big hole in it and out sprinkler was worn out. I knew it was time for new lawn care equipment if we were going to keep the lawn green instead of the brown it was heading to. It was a relief when I was offer a range of products from the Dramm Corporation. I was given the Oscillating Sprinkler ($46.78), Color Storm Rubber Hose in red ($62.99), AL Quick Disconnect ($19.95), Bypass Pruner ($20.99) and the Telescoping Lopper ($59.99). The hose is nice and thick and you know it is going to last for a very long time. The sprinkler is great because it has a variety of adjustments and can cover more than 3,000 sq.ft. My husband could not wait to get the sprinkler going so we could water our very thirsty lawn. The kids were excited about the sprinkler as we don’t have a pool, so this is absolutely the next best thing! The extra-long Telescoping Lopper is perfect for pruning the branches that are almost out of reach and the smaller pruner is perfect for our flower bed. We just love our Dramm products and with the lifetime guarantees with the Dramm products, we have peace of mind that we will always have a working Dramm product for our lawn and garden.
