Lockets for Mothers Day

Lockets for Mothers Day

If you are looking for something special for mom, you should consider lockets for Mothers day.  There is something sweet about lockets and  I can’t think of anything as flattering than to carry a picture of someone you love close to your heart.  If you wanted to surprise mom with a locket, you may need to dig deep to find one.  When I am looking for jewelry that is out of the ordinary, I visit Etsy which is a treasure trove of talented artists.

Amanda Senten is one half of the creative team that makes up The Freshy Fig. You can find new and re-purposed vintage necklaces and earrings in this Etsy shop.  Being green is a huge part of The Freshy Fig, and they do this by bringing new life to beautiful pieces of long forgotten jewelry.   Many of the pieces you will find at the Freshy Fig are one of a kind, so if you visit her and see something you like, you would be well served to grab it before someone does!  Amanda also recycles her shipping materials as often as she can, which rounds out the go green philosophy of The Freshy Fig.

Beautiful Jewelry for Women

If you are looking for beautiful jewelry for women, you can find a variety at the Freshy Fig.  I was looking for lockets as a gift when I ran across Amanda Senten’s Etsy shop. When Amanda offered one of her pieces to me for review, I had a hard time narrowing down my choices!  I finally settled on a gorgeous filigree locket (valued at $24.50) with a sweet blue bird charm.  The locket has such a delicate look and the blue bird is a perfect accent to the necklace.  What is so great about the piece is that you can wear it with the most elegant dress or a casual tee shirt and jeans.  If you are looking for jewelry that is different from the other mass produced jewelry, the Freshy Fig is a great place to find what you are looking for.

One lucky winner will win a gift certificate for $30 to be used at the Freshy Fig Etsy Store
