I am so close to my goal! I started out at 176 in August and today I was still 137. I am aiming for 125, but we all know the last 10 is always the hardest. I totally need to tone my body. I noticed after I lost all the weight my arms are so flabby. It is embarrassing. So I exercise I used to hate exercising but now I find that walking really keeps my stress level down. I found a few music apps to entertain me like the Walgreens Pandora channel which have upbeat and motivating music. The music on this channel always puts a lift in my step, I walk faster, and I get better cardio.
Pandora is free to sign up, and you can access it from your computer or download as an app to your phone. This was you can exercise in or out of your house to jams that get your blood moving! If you happen to be a walker like me, you should join the Walk with Walgreens program.
Every walk you take, you log in and join with the other people walking for the American Heart Association. It is super simple to use. After you walk, you just record your steps. This week, I have walked 4 times and logged 28,862 steps. You can join groups, get motivated and earn rewards.
Yup! Rewards! By connecting your Walgreens Balance Rewards account (which is free), you can earn even more rewards. We all know that more rewards equals money! When I went to Walgreens the other day, I used my Walgreens app to find out what was on sale.
I found out that EAS products were on sale for buy one get one 1/2 off AND if you purchased $30 or more, you got 2000 Bonus Rewards on your Balance Rewards account. Win – win! You can find out all the juicy details in my Google Plus Album. As you can see, I stocked up!
I have been eating healthier, walking, and we even bought a BowFlex to help the flabby arms. It is never too late to start getting healthy! Follow Walgreens on Twitter and keep up with all the bloggers and how they are being #HappyHealthy.
