My Favorite Spring Shoe Trends #TargetStyle

It’s time for spring and that means warm weather, shorts and sundresses and summer shoes. We finally get to tuck our winter boots away, get a pedicure and and let our feet get some fresh air and sunshine! We finally get to wear our strappy sandals, colorful flats, cool athletic shoes and tons of other cute looks. For your next shoe shopping spree, Target is your go to place for the latest looks at affordable prices.  Here are a few of my favorite spring shoe trends that have been showing up on runways, red carpets and other celebrity events.

My Favorite Spring Shoe Trends

Gladiator Sandals: This style was red hot last year and it is back again this year. This style has been a favorite of such Hollywood stars as Mischa Barton and Eva Longoria. This style is comfortable yet fashionable and can be worn as easily with a casual pair of shorts and a tank as with a strapless evening dress and a metallic clutch. This year be on the look for metallic hues,  bejeweled or colored leathers for this popular style.

Wedge Sandals: Although the wedge has been a popular shoe style for years, they are making a comeback this season and they are hotter than ever. The style that is attracting the most attention from stars like Kirsten Dunst and Ginnifer Goodwin are the print wedge. What women love about a wedge is  for those who are on the shorter side, wearing a wedge makes your legs look longer. A printed wedge looks great with your favorite cut off shorts or your little black summer dress.

Flats: The always in style and ever changing flat is always a solid choice for any event. The hottest flats this spring are colorful florals, bright solids and metallic colors like bronze and silver. You can wear a cute striped ballerina flat with a favorite sundress or perhaps an animal print with jeans and a crisp white shirt. No matter the print or material, flat shoes will never go out of style.
