Perfect for the Traveling Family Star Kids Snack & Play Travel Tray

I have found a must have item perfect for the traveling family Star Kids Snack & Play Travel Tray.  Our family is constantly in the car and the kids have grown tired of being entertained by the DVD player.  I have been looking for a travel desk so the kids could color, play and eat in the car with little to no mess.  I had the opportunity to review the Star Kids Snack & Play Travel Tray on our recent family vacation to Orlando.  I was beyond impressed with this product!

Activities for Kids in the Car

I am always looking for activities for kids in the car.  The Star Kids Snack & Play tray is an attractive blue and black and made of a thick foam so its soft not hard. It has a large flat surface big enough to play (with a raised foam edge so items do not fall on the floor) and eat with two sides that drape over the carseat with pockets to hold, snacks, drinks, crayons, markers, coloring books.  Its amazing how much stuff you can fit into it.  There is also a belt that wraps around the child and buckles so the whole tray stays in place.  The pockets came in very handy because my daughter was able to store her supplies when she wasnt using them and then get them herself when she was ready.  The best part was that I didn’t have to listen to her whine that she dropped them on the floor.  She was able to play with her dolls, color, read her books and completely entertain herself for the 3 hour trip.  I didn’t hear a peep out of her the entire way.  It was the quietest most relaxing ride I have had in a long time.

Folding Tray for Kids

I love the fact that it isnt a hard surface and can be folded to be placed in a bag or in the back pocket of the seat.  We have left the snack and play in the car and use it daily.  While on vacation we brought it into the condo to use on the couch for snack time and for coloring. Its a great product for kids and adults.  I used it to put my laptop on and was able to place my calculater, pen, checkbook, stamps etc in the pocket to keep everything handy.  It also works great on a stroller as well!  She spilled her juice on it and the 100% nylon material was easily cleaned with a damp cloth.  You can purchase a Snack & Play Travel Tray like mine for $19.99 at Babies R Us and Amazon.  Star Kids also carries the air play tray table cover (double sided) for when the tray is down or needs to be up on the airplane.  Check them out on Facebook!
