I love how the Internet has provided such easy access to so many things, including bank accounts. Accessing bank accounts online makes it so easy to check balances, pay bills, transfer money between accounts and much more. The problem is, at times, there are questions that need to be answered, but not a forum in which to ask for help. I do not always like to contact customer service or email them since it usually takes too much time to get a response. However, having the ability to pose questions in a community type setting allows for instant feedback.
Saving For College
Wells Fargo Bank now has a community forum where you can go to ask various types of questions; such as how much should you be saving for college? This allows you to get quick feedback in a community setting. You can also search the discussions to see if your question has already been answered. Currently the community discussion is centered on saving for college, but they will be adding more topics in the future.
In order to search the community, you do not have to be a member of Wells Fargo of the community. However you do need to sign up as a member of the community if you would like to ask a question. There are some very interesting discussions on how much money to save for college, how to apply for a loan, what to do if you have not saved any money for your child’s education, and more.
There are some great benefits to joining this community:
- It allows you to connect with people with different backgrounds and experiences who are part of this community so you can get a variety of perspectives.
- Since Wells Fargo specialists are a part of this community as well, you can learn from those specialists as well.
- It is a way to be active in a community that has accurate information and can be very helpful. You can even use your experience and knowledge by chiming in on other people’s discussions.
- Their community guidelines require constructive communications and they work to ensure their members are respectful.
- You can help others.
Planning for education has become more important now than ever due to its impact on lifetime earnings and its rising costs. Most people find the process on how to plan and the amount to plan for confusing and somewhat overwhelming. This community is designed to make that process easier.
Since the communities topic of discussion is focused on saving for education, it gives you a place to go to where key topics are addressed, such as saving for college, finding the right college, choosing a major, and preparing for life after college. Also, since the community has so many people in all phases of their education you will be able to find conversations whether you are preparing for college, in college, or done with college.
If you already have questions about planning for college, getting started in the Wells Fargo Community is very easy. All you do is visit the page and search the discussions; you may find the answer to your question already posted. If you do you have a question you would like to post, joining the community only takes a few minutes. Once you do post a question, you will get email notification as people reply to your question.
