I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, a gift code to giveaway, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. Being involved constantly in social media, the concept of Share What’s Good is hardly foreign as I do it on a daily basis. You can find me sharing treasured moments with my family on a constant basis through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
It is an awesome way for my family who lives too far away to see the kids on a regular basis to be involved in their day-to-day lives. I have always agreed with the philosophy of “It’s the little things that count” and want my Mom-in-law, father and cousins to be able to participate in the “little things.” You can find a treasured moment in an instant. In the time that is takes to drink a glass of juice, you can capture a winning smile or a purple mustache.
One of the habits from my childhood, I am instilling in my children is to share the day with the family at the table. Right after school is the perfect time to sit down for a snack of a mini Welch’s jelly cubes or a glass of Welch’s grape juice. It is so easy for your kids to get into the habit of answering the question of, “What did you do in school today?” with “Nothing” and for busy parents to sigh and move on.
I want to be closer to my children than that! I want to be involved in their lives. The best way to do that is by talking over good eats!
Welch’s also believes in the magic of “kitchen table” moments, and has just launched a new movement called “Share what’s good™.” At Sharewhatsgood.com you can find ideas to have fun with the family and yummy recipes. Share your pictures of your every-day moments by using the hashtag #Sharewhatsgood on Twitter or Instagram. It will show up on their community page.
One of my readers will receive a $50 photo gift card towards a popular Online Photo Service where they can share their own moment through Photo Books, Cards & Stationery, Prints, Calendars, Photo Gifts and more! Just post a photo to Twitter and/or Instagram, using the #sharewhatsgood and tag @makobiscribe too so I can see it!! You can tag and follow Welch’s on Twitter @Welchs and on Instagram @Welchs.
