If you are someone who needs to get organized when you travel, you are in good company! I hate to be disorganized, especially when I travel. When possible, I try to take one piece of luggage whenever possible. Not only does that save me money, but it is also easier to keep up with just one as opposed to several. I am pretty organized and I can pack pretty well, but as I have not traveled in a while, I decided to find some tips to help me get more organized when I take a trip. Here are a few that I found to be really helpful:
Things To Do Before Traveling
- Itinerary: Write down all the pertinent information, which would include your flight information, your passport (if applicable), reservation details and phone numbers and the address of the hotel and car rental company. Keep all your important papers in one place that is easily accessible.
- Security: Either call or get online to find the latest security rules from the Transportation Security Administration. This can save you an incredible amount of time if you are proactive.
- Packing: Before you pack, make a list of items you need, the right clothes and accessories for the events you may attend, toiletries, travel iron or hair dryer (call the hotel and ask if these items are available to save you from packing items you don’t need. Bring the most suitable luggage for the trip. You should bring a suitcase the rolls, has plenty of storage space, pockets and is extremely durable. The company I go to for the highest quality as well as affordability is JWorld Sports.
Choosing The Right Luggage
Sometimes choosing the right luggage can be overwhelming at best. When I buy l luggage, I look at the customer reviews and check out the company itself. When I decided to give a piece of luggage from JWorld Sports a try, I was really excited. If the pictures online were any indication of their quality, I knew I would be super impressed. When my Tartan Plaid Tamarack Rolling Duffel Bag ($44.99) arrived, I was immediately surprised at the size. I was thinking I would get a considerably smaller item than I received. There is plenty of room inside, there are plenty of pockets, it has durable wheels with a retractable handle and the fabric is durable and tightly woven. I love that I can fit everything I need easily and there is enough room that my clothes are squished up together so they are so wrinkled when I unpack. I truly love my new piece of luggage from J World Sports and am looking forward to my next piece I will get from them!
One reader will win a JWorld Sports Tamarack Rolling Duffle ($44.99) in their choice of pattern, depending on availability.
