I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting sponsored by Publishers Clearing House. I received a product sample and promotional item as a thank you for participating. I imagine we have all fantasized at one time or another what it would be like to be rich. I am pretty sure many of us have watched the celebrities on television and wished we could live like they do. These folks live in gorgeous homes, drive sports cars, have a staff to run the house and travel at the drop of a hat. Since many of us are not gifted with great acting or singing skills, how in the world could we live the life of a celebrity? If we did get lucky enough to win such a contest, what would happen to that money once we were gone? Did you ever see the commercials on television with the Prize Patrol from Publisher’s Clearing House sneaking up to the winner’s house? My heart would start to beat faster and faster as they neared the front door, balloons and big check in hand. I loved seeing the reaction of the winner when they opened the door and realized what was going on! Can you imagine opening your own front door and seeing the smiling faces of the Prize Patrol telling you that the big check had your name on it? I remember my mom entering faithfully to try her luck at winning the big prize and I have entered as well. What would you do if you were to win and who would you choose to receive that after you were gone? For me, I would buy my family the house we have always wished for as well as 2 new cars. Then I would take care of any bills I had as well as those my oldest child had. From there, I would donate a portion and hire a financial advisor to help me be responsible with my winnings.
